Lymphatic Support Protocol

Your lymph system has no pump of its own. It moves with your muscles and breath. This protocol is mostly about movement, water and simple daily habits.

Is this protocol for you?

People often look into this protocol when they notice:

  • Puffiness or a heavy, stagnant feeling
  • Sitting for most of the day
  • Wanting to support circulation alongside another protocol

Swelling in one leg or arm, a new lump, or swelling with pain, warmth or redness needs a doctor right away, as it can signal a clot or infection.

How it works: the three phases

1 · Prepare

Build the basics: water through the day, walking, and a few minutes of deep belly breathing. Then rebuild your capacity (minerals from food, steady meals, good sleep) before any cleanse. In the SDM, Prepare takes about 4 weeks.

2 · Eliminate

Add gentle movement such as rebounding or stretching, dry brushing toward the heart, and warm-cold showers. Herbs traditionally used include cleavers and red clover.

3 · Re-Build

Keep moving daily, limit long periods of sitting, and eat plenty of vegetables and water-rich foods.

Safety first

  • Avoid red clover if you have a hormone-sensitive condition, take blood thinners, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Skip rebounding or vigorous movement if you have joint, heart or balance problems without checking with your provider.
  • Lymphedema needs specialist care. Don’t self-treat it.
