Everyday, food-first habits that support healthy circulation, built to sit alongside (never replace) the care you get from your doctor.
Is this protocol for you?
People often look into this protocol when they notice:
- Wanting to support healthy blood pressure and cholesterol with lifestyle changes
- Sitting a lot and wanting better circulation
- A family history you want to get ahead of
Chest pain, pressure, shortness of breath, fainting or sudden weakness is an emergency. Call 911. Never stop or change prescribed heart or blood pressure medication without your doctor.
How it works: the three phases
1 · Prepare
Lower the load: fewer processed and salty foods, less alcohol, no smoking, and more water and daily walking. Then rebuild your capacity (minerals from food, steady meals, good sleep) before any cleanse. In the SDM, Prepare takes about 4 weeks.
2 · Eliminate
Build a Mediterranean-style plate (vegetables, beans, olive oil, nuts, fish) with oats and other soluble fibre. Hawthorn and garlic have a long history of traditional use for the heart and circulation.
3 · Re-Build
Keep the habits for life: regular movement, good sleep, stress management and regular check-ups.
Safety first
- Hawthorn can interact with heart medications, including blood pressure drugs and digoxin. Only use it with your doctor’s OK.
- Garlic supplements and omega-3s can increase bleeding risk with blood thinners.
- Check your blood pressure regularly, and share any supplement changes with your doctor.
